今回紹介するのは、スコットランドの歌手、Nathan Evans(ナーサン・エバンス)のWellerman (ウェラーマン)(シー・シャンティ)。
元々、19世紀の船乗りの労働歌であったこの曲。
ニュージーランドで捕鯨船に食糧を供給していたウェラー兄弟の補給船で働く人々"ウェラーマン"についての歌となります。
2021年にNathanがTikTokでこの曲のカバーを投稿したところ世界中でバイラルヒットとなりました。
