今月20日に、Maroon 5(マルーン５)の新曲「Memories(メモリーズ)」がリリースされました。今後発表されるであろう彼らの7枚目のアルバムからのシングルと考えられています。
実に1年４ヶ月ぶりとなるこの曲は、グループにとっても最大級のヒットとなった"Girls Like You"よりもさらにシンプルなサウンドで、どこか懐かしさを感じる仕上がりになっています。
過去の思い出を振り返る曲であり、思い出すたびに
"君＝自分にとっての大切な人"が呼び戻されるんだ、
というサビの歌詞が印象的です。
