今回紹介するのは、The Weeknd（ザ・ウィークエンド）の「Die For You（ダイ・フォー・ユー）」。
実はこの曲、リリースは2016年でアルバム「Starboy」の６曲目のシングルとして、一部のラジオでかかったりしていました。
2021年の秋ごろにTikTokにて人気が上昇し、5年越しのMusic Videoが公開されたのち今年ついに正式シングルカット。2022年10月現在、Billboard 100にてTop50にランクインするなどじわじわと人気を得ています。
過去に付き合っていたThe Weekndの彼女、Bella Hadid（ベラ・ハディット）に向けて書かれた歌と言われています。
